Logbook records and organizes vehicle trips. When trip data is available, Fleets stores the trip with the vehicle and the assigned driver. A trip entry includes information such as start and end time, start and end location, and the trip type. The logbook gives users a structured history of vehicle usage. It can support reporting, administration, and driver responsibility checks. Keeping trip information in one place reduces the need to rebuild trip history from messages, memory, calendars, or separate notes. The logbook is useful when users need to understand when a vehicle was used, who used it, and what type of trip was recorded.
